CILT ELL-LC National Conference

CILT is launching Phase 7 of the ELL-LC project with a national conference on 12th Dec 2008. The focus of this conference will be building training and support networks in order to develop quality and sustainability in primary languages. It will also focus on the issues surrounding transition from Key Stages 2 – 3. The conference will bring together representatives from CILT, teachers in Specialist Language Colleges and primary colleagues.

There will be no charge for attending this conference but supply costs are not covered.

Foreign Language Assistants

The two French assistants based at Weald each have 6 hours available for primary work. They can help in team teaching or in helping pupils on an individual or small group basis. They will also be able to help with resources. If you would like to invite a primary FLA into your classroom to support you, please contact Esther Hardman at Weald (e.hardman@wealdofkent.kent.sch.uk).
